These images were taken at a peace rally event hosted by New Jerusalem Now, a recovery program for addicts in North Philadelphia, Grannies for Peace Brigade and Temple Students for Democratic Society. The event was not openly political toward a certain candidate, but many attendees at the picnic openly expressed views about both Obama and Clinton. The issue mostly addressed at the event was war spending by the current president, and how the money could go toward the 'War' Against Poverty, violence and drugs in North Philadelphia. The event took place on the 2600 block of Norris Street outside Strawberry Mansion on Saturday, March 29.
