Homeless Rally by Christina Mazza

Today in front of the National Constitution Center groups that work with the homeless held a press conference and a rally protesting the proposed closing of "Overnight Cafes" in the city, which are all-night alternatives to shelters for the homeless. Speakers discussed the importance of voting in the primary tomorrow. They believe that the presidential candidates are barely paying attention to the increasing number of homeless persons in Philadelphia and the country and they need to stop tuning a blind eye to the crisis.
